Launched during WHO’s World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2021, this resource has been developed to highlight the importance of appropriate and proper use of antimicrobials to combat the evolution of resistance and avoid adverse effects in patients.
The questions support the Keep Antimicrobials Working (KAW) programme, a collaboration between BSAC and the Medical Schools Council. The KAW supports the Government’s efforts to reduce inappropriate prescriptions for antibiotics by raising awareness of the issue of antimicrobial resistance and reducing demand from the public.
On completion of this set of questions, feedback will be given.
